Vassell’s was instructed to carry out a full investigation into the installation of the air conditioning system installed by another supplier, which had been causing disruption to the Hotel for over three months since Roomzzz Aparthotel Stratford has been open for business.
The installer had been visiting the site multiple times but without resolving the malfunction of the air conditioning system on the 8th floor. The initial error on the whole system was highlighting that the air conditioning system is running low on refrigerant, but the installer had not carried out any intrusive investigation on the system at any point throughout his site visits and has always been adamant that the reason why the system is not working is due to the fact the VRF is undersized for the rooms. Vassell’s attended site to complete a full investigation of the issue that the client was experiencing and we found that the system had been charged with inadequate quantity of refrigerant. This was coinciding with the initial error found on the system.
Vassell’s rectified the issue by adding the recommended amount of refrigerant into the system in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendation. We advised our client that based on our engineers’ findings during the process of rectifying the matter, this could have been avoided if more care would have been undertaken by the installer throughout the air conditioning installation. Based on our engineers’ professionalism, knowledge and work ethics, we have developed a strong working relationship with our client. This has led Vassell’s undertaking work and providing services on our client’s sites all over UK.
