Dear Registered Customer.

Two new safety alerts (SA) have been issued.

Safety Alert 018

Clesse Industries, manufacturer of LPG gas regulator brand Novacomet, has issued an immediate product recall on their LPG regulator product family BP1803.

Affected Models

Novacomet BP1803 manufactured between June 2010 and September 2015

Used with propane and butane LPG cylinders, the recall involves all directly cylinder mounted, wall mounted single cylinder and two cylinder manual changeover versions manufactured between June 2010 and September 2015.
Action required
Using the identification process described in the full technical bulletin, if your regulators are part of the recall, used for outdoor applications and fall within the specified dates, register your details using one of the methods detailed below.

Clesse will process and supply replacement BP1803 regulators free of charge, as well as contribute to the cost of the product exchange that falls within the recall.

Safety Alert 019

There is a safety issue with Hamworthy Heating Ltd, Milborne room sealed wall hung boilers. Affected models have the potential risk of products of combustion leaking from the appliance under fault conditions.

Affected Models

Hamworthy Milborne 381 (room sealed only)

Hamworthy Milborne 382 (room sealed only)

Hamworthy Milborne 501 (room sealed only)

Hamworthy Milborne 502 (room sealed only)

All these models are Wall Hung, Pre Mix, Condensing, Modular Boilers
Period of Installations 2005-2013
(RS) ROOM SEALED type C63 – Flue applications only
(Combustion air taken from outside the plant room)

The fault is with the internal flue component between the sump and the connection with the internal flue/chimney. In certain circumstances the flue/chimney can develop a crack.

As a result Hamworthy Heating Ltd consider the matter requires a visit from their service department to carry out preventative action to ensure ongoing safe operation of the appliance.

Action Required
Hamworthy Heating are issuing a formal Safety Advice Notice to all installation contractors and end users, where the boiler is installed. They are requesting for this to be completed and posted back in the pre-paid envelope that will be provided, at the earliest opportunity possible.
